The honest short answer: there is no fixed video count
Alibaba publishes Credits limits for Token Plan Individual, but it does not publish one universal promise such as a set number of HappyHorse videos per month. The plan documentation says Credits consumption is dynamically determined, and the HappyHorse API documentation notes that longer videos cost more. A 3-second 720P test, a 15-second 1080P clip and a reference-heavy retry cycle should not be treated as equivalent units.
The plan also includes text, image and Harness-tool usage under the same Credits balance. If an agent researches a topic, generates an image and then turns it into video, all eligible calls can contribute to the same limits. Any fixed clip number presented without a precise recipe and measured Credits is therefore marketing speculation, not a dependable allowance.
Two independent limits can stop generation
Token Plan Individual uses a five-hour fixed window and a seven-day fixed window. Both begin with the first invocation in their respective cycle, and every Credit consumed counts toward both. Reaching either limit pauses service until that window finishes. Unused Credits do not carry into the next window, and exhausted usage does not spill over to pay-as-you-go billing.
This means the larger seven-day number is not your only capacity constraint. A concentrated afternoon of video generation can hit the five-hour ceiling even while the seven-day balance remains. Conversely, a steady workflow may stay below every five-hour ceiling but reach the seven-day limit before its reset date.
| Plan | Five-hour Credits | Seven-day Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Lite | 700 | 2,500 |
| Standard | 3,000 | 10,000 |
| Pro | 12,000 | 40,000 |
What changes the number of usable videos
Start with the model route. HappyHorse T2V begins from text, I2V adds one first-frame image and R2V can use one to nine references. Then consider duration and resolution: each route supports 3–15 seconds and 720P or 1080P, while official API guidance indicates duration affects cost. Promotions or model-specific deduction coefficients can also change over time.
The operational workflow matters just as much. A publishable clip may require prompt revisions, regenerated source images, failed or rejected tasks, alternate aspect ratios and several candidate videos. Capacity planning should count every consumed Credit, not only the final files you keep.
- Exact model ID: T2V, I2V and R2V may not consume identically.
- Requested duration and resolution.
- Number of references and surrounding image-generation work.
- Retries, variants and discarded results.
- Other chat, reasoning and Harness-tool calls in the same plan.
- Any temporary Credits promotion in force at the time.
Measure one representative job before estimating
Define a standard job that resembles what you will actually publish: for example, one 8-second I2V clip at the chosen resolution, using a prepared first frame and one normal revision. Run that workflow interactively through a permitted tool, then read actual Credits consumption in the subscription console. Repeat it several times so one unusually easy or difficult task does not define the estimate.
Calculate two ceilings. Divide the remaining five-hour Credits by the average Credits per complete job, then do the same with the remaining seven-day Credits. Round both results down. The smaller number is the immediate upper bound, before allowing for unrelated plan usage. In plain terms: estimated jobs = floor(remaining Credits divided by measured Credits per representative job).
Describe the result as an observed planning estimate, including the date, model, duration, resolution and retry assumptions—not as a fixed allowance.
Choose a tier from workflow shape, not headline volume
Lite can be a sensible learning tier for occasional interactive experiments. Standard provides four times Lite's documented limits and higher recommended concurrency, which may suit a creator comparing several ideas across a week. Pro provides sixteen times Lite's limits and the highest documented concurrency, but higher quota does not change the Individual plan's personal and interactive-use rules.
Before upgrading, identify which window you actually hit. If a concentrated session reaches the five-hour limit, a higher tier may help. If inefficient iteration is the problem, improving prompts, reusing approved source images and shortening exploratory clips may save more Credits. Alibaba also states that an upgrade raises both limits immediately, while renewal extends time rather than adding quota to the current cycle.
Who this is for—and who it is not for
This estimation method is for a single creator using HappyHorse interactively and willing to measure a realistic job. It gives a better purchase signal than converting subscription price into an invented video total and can be recalculated whenever a model, promotion or workflow changes.
It is not a service-level guarantee and should not be used to price a production rendering business. Token Plan Individual prohibits automated scripts, application backends and non-interactive batch processing. Teams, public products and scheduled video factories need a billing product and terms designed for those workloads.
